My favorite quote is "When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change." I believe everything in life is perspective. If you see the glass as half full, the glass IS half full. If you see it as half empty, then it is half empty. I'm also a strong believer in that everything in our life happens for a reason.
In mid October of 2020, I was diagnosed with stage IIA colorectal cancer. My treatment consists of 6 weeks of radiation paired with a low dose of chemotherapy. When I've completed the 6 weeks and my body has had a few weeks to recover, I will have to have surgery. Once my body recovers from surgery, I will then have to do 3-6 months of chemotherapy. The length of time will depend on what my liquid biopsy shows. I have an immense about of hope & faith in myself, my doctors and god getting me thru this journey. Along with the most amazing family, friends and clients. I seriously have the best people surrounding me. I feel all the prayers and love everyday!
Feel free to follow my journey in any of my social media pages or shoot me an email, firstname.lastname@example.org. I would love to hear from everyone, especially since I won't be seeing anyone until Springtime.
